K Events has a very clear, heart-felt aim:
“To empower psychologists, counsellors, social workers with a vast range of tools, techniques and strategies which enable them to help their clients most effectively and simultaneously maintain (or re-ignite) their passion for the very valuable work they do."
For more than eleven years, Kerri-Ann Sheppard has been the behind the scenes person, who organizes all the details – both big and small – for the workshops; whilst solo-juggling the demands of two Aspie children. Organising workshops and events requires attention to detail, copious lists and schedules and above all passion. Kerri-Ann’s passion for helping others is reflected in the nurturing, calm, learning spaces and experiences created at workshops for the attendees.
One of the key aims of K Events is to provide innovative and exceptional quality training to psychologists, counsellors, therapists and other helping professionals.
Through attending highly experiential and quality training, attendees are nurtured and their skills and knowledge are enriched providing them with further tools, techniques and strategies which may be applied immediately to help their clients.
Sandra, as a psychologist in private practice, with over 25 years experience, provides valuable consultancy and advice about relevant presenters, topics and trends to ensure that workshop topic and content reflects cutting edge psychology and the needs of practitioners. She also assists Kerri-Ann and the presenters in the practical smooth running of the workshops.
Since 2006, K Events has worked with many presenters including Lyn Grodzki, Thom Rutledge, Bill O’Hanlon many times, Dr Daniel Siegel, Dr Michael Yapko, Drs John and Julie Gottman, Dr Ronald Siegel and Linda Graham. In 2017, workshops will be presented by Dr Dan Wile, Dr Caroline Donovan, Tess Graham and Dr Michael Yapko.
